This is BoardHawk, a browser extension for Amazon Relay carriers in the UK.

It sits on your load board, keeps it refreshed, and tells you the moment a load fits.

Here's the whole thing in two minutes.

Press START, and BoardHawk checks the board at a steady, human pace.

The strip above the bar shows how it's going. Green is normal; yellow means Relay asked it to slow down.

When a new load turns up, it stops, rings, and moves it to the top of Relay's own list.

Green means it matches your filters. Purple means it's new, but outside them.

Filters decide what counts: sites you never want, how much notice you need, and milk runs.

You choose the sounds, too, including an alarm when a price goes up.

ACCEPT books a load straight from its card.

With auto-book on, it books a matching load by itself, after a short pause you choose, with a Cancel button.

Your first real booking shows BoardHawk the exact request Relay's own page sends.

From then on, ACCEPT books in one step.

After a booking, BoardHawk can ask who takes the load and put that driver on the trip in Relay,

and cancel their other posts for the same time.

Post a truck from any card, with the form already filled in from that load.

Download it from showmyplane.com, add it to Chrome or Edge, and start your free trial from the BoardHawk box.

Seven days, no card needed.

Here's how to get BoardHawk running in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

On showmyplane.com, tick the box to accept the disclaimer and terms,

and press Download.

Open your Downloads folder, right-click the zip, and choose Extract All.

Pick a folder you'll keep, like Documents, then BoardHawk.

Your browser runs BoardHawk from that folder, so don't delete it.

BoardHawk isn't in the Chrome Web Store, so you add it from a folder on your computer.

Browsers call that loading an unpacked extension, and it needs Developer mode. It's a normal browser setting, and you can switch it off again later.

Now open your browser's extensions page. In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar.

Switch on Developer mode. In Chrome it's at the top right; in Edge, it's on the left.

Press Load unpacked, and choose the folder with manifest.json inside.

BoardHawk now shows in your list of extensions.

Open the Relay load board and sign in as usual. BoardHawk never asks for your Amazon password.

The BoardHawk box opens by itself. Type your name, your company if you like, and your e-mail.

Tick the box, then press Start free trial.

That's it. Seven days, on up to three browsers, with one Relay company account.

Each e-mail, browser and Relay account gets one free trial.

If someone gave you a key instead, paste it here and press Activate.

Set your filters, press START, and BoardHawk takes it from there.

To update later, extract the new version into the same folder, and press the reload arrow on the extensions page.

Your settings and your key stay as they are.

The step-by-step guide is at showmyplane.com.

How BoardHawk searches the Relay load board – speed and safety

Open Settings, and the first choice is how BoardHawk searches. With Relay's refresh button, BoardHawk presses Relay's own refresh for you, and Relay's own filters decide what shows. With BoardHawk's own search, it checks the board quietly in the background, with no flicker, and uses BoardHawk's filters too.

Either way, the searches go out exactly as Relay's own page sends them.

You set a range of searches per second.

BoardHawk wanders inside it like a person refreshing: it drifts, varies, and takes a short breather every so often.

One point six to two point one has run comfortably. Above that, the number turns red as a warning.

Switch on Learn a safe speed, and if Relay ever pushes back, BoardHawk slows down at once,

remembers that speed as its limit, and only creeps back up after ten clean minutes.

If Relay asks it to slow down, the strip turns yellow and it waits a little longer each time.

After five in a row, it stops and rings, so you can take a look.

A sign-in page, a captcha or a bot warning, and it stops straight away and rings. It never tries to get round them.

While it runs, the strip shows the pace, when the board was last checked, and how many searches so far.

Several Relay tabs share one speed, so two tabs never double the searches.

Press START to begin. Press it again, or Alt, Shift and S on the keyboard, to stop.

And when a load fits, BoardHawk stops, rings, and moves it to the top of the list.

BoardHawk filters and sounds – green and purple loads explained

When BoardHawk finds something, it marks Relay's own card and moves it to the top. Green means the load passes your filters. BoardHawk stops searching and rings, so you can act. Purple means it's new, or its price went up, but it's outside your filters. It moves up with one sound, and the search carries on.

When BoardHawk finds something, it marks Relay's own card and moves it to the top.

Green means the load passes your filters. BoardHawk stops searching and rings, so you can act.

Purple means it's new, or its price went up, but it's outside your filters. It moves up with one sound, and the search carries on.

New means Relay posted it in the last ten minutes.

Open Filters. You can leave out milk runs,

and set how many minutes' notice you need before a load starts.

Everything saves as you go.

Only these sites keeps BoardHawk to the sites you list. Leave it empty for every site.

Never these sites always wins. Type a site code, press Enter, and that site is out.

Price, dates, equipment and radius stay in Relay's own search bar, just as you use it now.

Pick a sound for a new green load, and press Play to hear it.

The price-rise alarm rings when a load's price goes up by at least the amount you set. Set ten pounds, and smaller rises stay quiet.

Purple loads get their own, gentler sound, just once.

And set the volume here.

Each tag tells you why a load is marked: your filters or not, new, and how long ago Relay posted it.

So you can tell at a glance which loads deserve a closer look.

The strip counts how many loads were found, and how many moved up.

When you've seen a load, press the cross on its card, or Clear on the strip, and press START again.

BoardHawk ACCEPT, Instant Book and auto-book – how booking works

Every card on the load board gets an ACCEPT button, on loads BoardHawk found, and on all the others too. Before Instant Book is on, ACCEPT simply presses Relay's own Book and confirm buttons for you. The card shows Booking in Relay, then Relay said OK. Check Relay Trips to be sure.

Your first real booking, with ACCEPT or Relay's own Book button, lets BoardHawk keep a copy of the request Relay's page sent.

Book a load you genuinely want. Never book one just to test.

The copy stays in your browser, and the bar confirms Instant Book is on.

From now on, ACCEPT sends that same request directly, with this load's details. One press, one booking.

It's faster, because it doesn't wait for Relay's booking box to open.

Switch on Auto-book a found load,

and choose how long to wait first, from instant up to three seconds.

It only books loads that pass your filters, the highest price first, and never while the strip is yellow or red.

When a load fits, a countdown appears. Press Cancel if you don't want it.

Right at the end, it checks once more that auto-book is still on, before it books.

Use the Watch and Auto-book switch on the bar to change modes at any time.

Auto-book books one load, then stops, so nothing runs away from you. Press START for the next one.

And it rings, so you know to check Relay Trips.

After a booking, BoardHawk can also ask which driver takes it. There's more on that in the posts video.

Post a truck on Amazon Relay from any load card with BoardHawk

Seen a load you'd like, but it's not quite right? Post a truck for it instead. It saves typing the same details into Relay's Post a truck page again and again. Press Post a truck on the card. BoardHawk opens the form, filled in from that load.

Seen a load you'd like, but it's not quite right? Post a truck for it instead.

It saves typing the same details into Relay's Post a truck page again and again.

Press Post a truck on the card. BoardHawk opens the form, filled in from that load.

From and to are the towns nearest the two sites. Pick the truck setup and the driver, both straight from Relay.

Link it to another post if you like, or start a new group.

Then the radius around each end, the trip hours, and the number of stops.

The start window and the minimum price come from your settings: the load price plus your margin.

Relay only matches loads that pay at least your minimum.

Tick auto-cancel, and when one of this driver's posts fills, their other posts for the same time are cancelled.

Press Post. It's the same request Relay's own Post a truck page sends.

The post now shows on the load's card, with its number, price, radius, and Relay's match outlook.

Match outlook is Relay's own guess at how likely a match is.

If a load matches, Amazon books it for you, just as with any Relay post.

In Settings, set your usual margin, radius and start window,

and the most open posts per driver and in total. BoardHawk won't post past those limits.

Every post you make shows under Posts on the bar, with its driver, window and status. There's more on that in the next video.

Press Posts on the bar to see every open post: the driver, from and to, the window, the minimum price, and the status.

Posts you made on Relay's own page show here too.

Tick some and press Cancel selected, or cancel all open posts at once.

Same run on other days? Handy for a regular run you cover most weeks.

Tick exactly one post, and press Repeat on other days.

Every detail is copied from that post as Relay saved it. Only the date moves.

You can change the driver or the minimum price first.

Pick any days in the next fortnight, check the list,

and press Post. Each post is sent once. If one fails, it's listed, never retried.

A driver can only do one trip at a time. Once one post fills, their other posts for the same hours are just a risk.

Switch on auto-cancel, and when one of a driver's posts fills, their other posts for the same time are cancelled.

After a booking, BoardHawk can ask who takes it. Switch that on in Posts, under After a booking.

Choose the driver. The list comes straight from Relay.

Press Assign in Relay, and it puts that driver on the trip in Relay Trips.

Their open posts for that time are listed below, already ticked.

BoardHawk confirms the driver is on the trip.

Press Cancel ticked posts, or Keep them. Your choice.

In Relay Trips, the driver is now on the trip. One less job after every booking.

Everything lives in one bar on the load board.

On the left, the state, and the Watch or Auto-book switch.

On the right, Filters, Posts, Settings, Licence, and the big START button.

The strip above it shows the pace, and how many loads were found.

Green is normal. Yellow means Relay asked it to slow down. Red means it has stopped.

Settings also holds how BoardHawk searches, and how fast. There's a whole video on that.

In Settings, under Look, put the bar at the top or the bottom of the page,

and choose a bigger text size if you need it.

Light or dark follows your computer's own setting.

Amazon's replies shows the last answer from Relay, how quickly it came, and any errors in a row.

And Safety answers sets out exactly what BoardHawk does when Relay pushes back.

The Licence box shows your trial or key, who it's issued to, when it ends, and how many devices use it.

To change key, paste the new one and press Activate.

Check now asks the server straight away. Remove key takes it off this browser.

The key is checked when you enter it, and every forty-eight hours.

If your internet drops, a valid key keeps working for up to seven days without a check.

When your trial ends, e-mail us from the website for a key.

Your settings, filters and bookings stay in your browser.

The licence server only checks your key. It never sees your loads, prices, drivers or bookings.
